Rescue
Rescue is all about personal safety and will broaden your situational awareness. Stuart Scuba will teach you to recognize and prevent problems before they arise, and how to assist in an emergency situation.
This course is designed to be fun and highly energetic. You will learn the use of emergency equipment, self-rescue techniques and how to respond to unresponsive or panicked divers. You will also learn to recognize the signs of stress in both yourself and others you dive with, as well as what to look for to to avoid common problem scenarios during your planned dive.
This course is a next step for those who have completed Advanced Open Water and are looking to continue their diving education.

Age Minimum: 12+ (depending on agency)

Course Requirements:
- Advanced Open Water certification
- Current CPR and Secondary Care First Aid (also available through Scuba Scuba)
- Emergency O2 Provider is recommended, but not required (also available through Stuart Scuba)
- Purchase of course materials
- Basic Gear: Mask, Fins, Boots, Snorkel
- Expanded gear: Dive Tables, Safety Sausage/SMB, Spool or Reel, Whistle, Dive Light
- Scuba Gear: BCD, Weights, Regulator Set w/Gauges/Compass and Computer (Rentals Available)
- Tanks for your dives (Rentals Available)
- Completed student registration material
- Completed medical form, signed by a physician if applicable
