Where We Dive
Stuart Scuba's boat fleet is located next to some of the largest reef ledges to drift dive across in the region. Experience and abundance of sea life on top of the ledges: colorful tropical fish, corals, sponges and critters both large and small.
Many of our ledges have over 25ft of relief and are home to many large sea animals. You will often find a nurse shark and sea turtles sleeping under a ledge, or a goliath grouper who calls a section of reef home.
Depths range anywhere from 60-70ft at the top of the ledges to 80-90ft at the bottom. Many of our ledges consist of large broken up pieces of the contentental shelf that are filled with a kaleidoscope of busy color, moving about the coral covered rocks and providing homes to some unique wildlife viewing opportunities.
The Treasure Coast offers dozens of shipwrecks for the adventurous diver to explore. There is something for everyone, and we offer dive trips for all skill levels to many of these wrecks.
Many wrecks are usually found laying on the sandy bottom, with nothing else around them, making them an oasis of sea life on the ocean floor. You will find nearly every variety of fish that has moved into these wrecks for protection and call it their permanent home.
Wrecks are the perfect opportunity for photographers as it provides an eerie and mysterious backdrop to take some great shots of the sea life that lives there.
